If you’re seeking therapy in Manchester, I am ready to help you on your journey toward greater well-being.
As an integrative therapist, I use various therapeutic approaches to customize the therapy to meet your unique needs.
My intention is to learn about you. I am eager to hear your story and help you make sense of it. As children, we develop beliefs and behaviours to gain approval of our caretakers and seek security. While these patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting might have been helpful in childhood, they’re often detrimental in adulthood and lead to psychological challenges. Through our collaborative efforts, you will have the opportunity to explore your relationship with yourself and others.
I am happy to help you with symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and many others.
I’m a trainee psychotherapeutic counsellor in the final year of a 4-year psychotherapy training. In my practice, I use elements of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy, and IFS (Internal Family Systems).
I work therapeutically for the NHS in the Early Intervention Service with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, psychosis, and many others.
Previously, I worked as a volunteer counsellor in a charity for women affected by domestic violence who experienced psychosomatic symptoms, anxiety disorders, and panic attacks.
I am also a member of BACP: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and BPS: British Psychological Society.
